Specifications
A module price without a destination load set is an incomplete file. ATCO Structures provides supplier matching, quotation comparison, sample coordination, inspection coordination, consolidation and export coordination. The specification desk records supplier commitments and unresolved items without taking the supplier role.
Left column is the document. Right column is the number or boundary that document must carry before material is released. Any values below are illustrative RFQ inputs, not verified supplier ratings or site design criteria.
The buyer names the destination, intended building classification and responsible engineer. Supplier screening requests evidence for that project, rather than treating ISO 9001 as product approval. Wind, snow, seismic, fire and accessibility inputs remain attached to the inquiry revision; unknown values are flagged for professional confirmation.
Offers are compared using the same external dimensions, usable floor area and fit-out schedule. Freight terms, warranty exclusions, spare parts and site works occupy separate rows. A shell quote and a furnished room quote cannot be compared using their headline totals alone. Supplier responses remain attributed to the issuing business.
A sample wall joint or fixture schedule can reveal differences that photographs conceal. The buyer approves the sample purpose, cost and acceptance method before coordination. Volumetric modules reduce site assembly, while bolted panelized systems generally require more site work; transport feasibility and installed cost determine which option deserves further review.
The selected independent inspector and buyer agree the inspection plan with the supplier. Record length, width and full-length diagonal measurements using calibrated tools suitable for the module size; a short tape is insufficient for a long diagonal. Document actual results, tool identification, drawing revision, lifting points and coating repairs. Acceptance tolerances come from approved drawings, never from this webpage.
Consolidation planning checks crate sizes, gross mass, lifting access, packing sequence and goods from multiple suppliers. Export coordination follows the commercial invoice, packing list and agreed shipping documents. The appointed freight provider verifies container-door clearance and payload. Purchasing approval, manufacturing release and local installation permits stay with their designated parties.
Supplier capabilities, certificates and project compliance require documentary verification for each sourcing request. Panel fire classification cannot substitute for doors and module-joint evidence. Destination engineers determine design suitability; inspection coordination checks agreed evidence and does not certify a whole building.
If wind, snow or the port is still blank, the specification desk returns the questionnaire rather than a guessed frame.
